Are you bored of going to the same night clubs in Warsaw every weekend? Being an Erasmus student doesn’t mean to be clubbing all the time. It’s not that clubbing is bad, it just gets repetitive after a point, you say? Do you want to find regular concerts in Warsaw and hear some different music? Aside from different, you would love to hear a little bit live music for a change, don’t you? There are so many questions to be answered, so let’s get started!
Klub Chlodna 25 a.k.a CH25
CH25 is one of the best live music venues in Warsaw. (Especially if you want to see regular gigs and discover super good Polish indie bands). Upstairs there is a beautifully designed, nice, and cozy cafe. They always have different types of delicious bottled beers and fresh vegetarian quiche. Downstairs, there is a small live music basement. While sipping your beer, you can sit on the comfy sofas and enjoy the gig. Furthermore, you can bump into the band’s drummer and chat with them about their music. They will be more than happy to socialize with you! There are 2 bands in Warsaw music scene you definitely need to see before your Erasmus ends: Ships Went South (they really are good!) and Phoebe (the band’s name is a huge reference to 90’s popular TV series FRIENDS!)
Harenda is a big student pub, which is always full of chatty crowds. Cheap beers and warm atmosphere is a plus. If you follow their events page, you will see they have so many live jazz sessions!
Address: Krakowskie Przedmieście 0
Another good venue for fans of rock music. They have so many concerts to check out and every time they would surprise you and make your evening better!

12on14 Jazz Club
If you want to see a true Jazz venue, you can’t skip this one. Tickets are a bit more expensive but if you love jazz, it is worth it. It brings you to those times when live music was everything you needed for a perfect night. Get your La La Land vibes on!
Address: Noakowskiego 16
It’s All About Discovering…
Seriously, don’t give it a deep thought but go and see a Warsaw band, even though you have never listened to it’s music before. Live music is like a magic; cliche, but it really is. It captivates you, so go and enjoy a different music genre this weekend. Let it be indie, jazz, heavy metal, anything… Challenge yourself! If you have never been to a live jazz session, try it. Who knows, maybe there’s a passion inside you for jazz music. After all, everyone needs to get away from digital music and hear a couple of alive melodies.
